We are very proud to finally be able to announce the next show in Dallas, Texas!
The second annual Lone Star Figure Show will be held at the Renaissance Hotel March 14th-16th, 2013.
The first show was a huge success, and we hope to build on last years show to create an even better show this year.

Following the same format of the first show, we will once again offer workshops to encourage growth and comeraderie within our hobby. Last years workshops were a smashing hit, everyone enjoyed themselves and learned a few new tricks in the process.
We have the great fortune of once again having Mr. Julio Cabos attending the show and hosting another 2 day workshop where he shares his tried and tested figure painting techniques. Not only is Julio a great guy, but he is also an excellent teacher. For more information on his workshop and information on how to sign up please click HERE.
The second workshop is a one day event, led by Mr. John Long, who is very well known for his superb groundwork. John will be sharing his techniques on various forms of groundwork where each participant will create his or her very own base. We tend to put a lot of effort into each figure that we sculpt/paint, so much so that sometimes we forget about the groundwork. This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the groundwork masters of our hobby today. For more information on the workshop and how to sign up cleck HERE
And a new event for the 2013 Lone Star Figure Show is a small, intimate painting class with no other then Mr. Doug Cohen. Doug will offer a very limited capacity painting class on Friday the 15th of March. The class will be a one day event with a maximum number of 6 participants where each participant will recive a lot of one on one instruction while painting a 75mm face. The key to the workshop is a very focused effort on how to paint a face in miniature. For more information about this unique opportunity please click HERE
And last, but certainly not least, we are proud to announce that Chris Mrosko will be conducting a seminar/demo on how to use an airbrush. We are very much looking forward to this!
